I am just wondering. What do you guys think about this new "thing". City received I think 13 million dollars and they will buy and recondition foreclosed ( only foreclosed- no short sales) homes. Then they will resale those homes and whatever money will be made it will be used to buy more foreclosures. It is supposed to help stabilize the market, provide the jobs( mostly construction) and take all those "eyesores" out of our neighborhoods. So do you think it will work. Does anybody have weird feeling about it?
I think it will definitely helps banks( they will have all new buyer's market just to themselves)
With jobs...why do I think we will have one contractor working with city and charging city whatever he feels and hiring illegal aliens so he can pay $8.00 an hour and make tons just to himself.
The only thing I think we will have is less homes with overgrown grass, hurricane shutters on windows, etc.
Let me know what you think?
